What is a life coach?

I recently in a video heard the term “thinking partner” as an explanation, I think that was a good convincer for myself. I am a literal thinking partner.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, you know what to do.
I’m not going to tell you how to do it, you know how to do it.
I listen, I clarify, I observe.

When was the last time someone did that for you? Just listen.

A step in any direction is still a shift, and shifting is still movement.
How do you plan to move forward with your goals?
How does that decision feel? Where are you feeling it?

Those are now the types of questions I find myself asking coachees, often watching as they make their shifts towards accomplishing their goals.

Is this how I want to be in service to others?
Is a question I had to ask myself.

Holding space for others is very much something you have to be prepared to do. I prepare before each session by doing a short meditation and grounding myself - life is very much a thing for everyone to be ones true prepared self those practise are often key for myself to be in such service to others.

Is life coaching a scam?
I now don’t think so, clearly.
It did take a few days of pretty deep dive googling though to convince me.

Life coaching is a service I provide, I’ve taken an ICF certified program to make sure our sessions are as on par with those core values as possible.

There are some people who offer coaching based completely on life experience which is valuable in other ways. But as you also are, I’m always learning and growing (disclaimer: I also do not have lifes answers).

I’m not giving you advice.
I don’t need to, you have the answers!

This past month I’ve done a very deep drive into my own as I continue by astrological education - I also have been learning invaluable tidbits from watching past oath oracle transmissions. I recently joined my first new moon circle included in her membership and this has clearly proven itself again and again every day since!
